Very enjoyable in audible though Rae was a bit slow in believing Zander could be her mate.
Really sorry for Miles and Carson for what had happened to their families due to feral shifters.
Loved Zander helping Vivian and Carson too.
Did love the ending with Rae’s family tree, but the explanation of how Rae became an orphan was sad.

Great to have a female in a role of power.
At long last we get a female Guardian much to the disbelief of most of the shifters.
When Rae is sent to train with Zander, a polar bear healer who is a complete lunatic, the mate bond shocks them both.
Zander was such an interesting character and loved his interaction with Rae.
The carry on with the sword was so humorous.
Interesting twist with what is happening re the shifters and the Fae.
