Publisher's Summary

Charles Swindoll presents the Bible's real Moses-the Moses who tried to decline his assignment from God; the Moses who dazzled Pharaoh; the Moses who received the Ten Commandments; the Moses who was disobedient and weak; the Moses who was the greatest leader of God's people in all of history. Through his faith and selfless dedication, Moses continually chose to follow God's will through difficult and seemingly impossible situations. An excellent and inspiring look into Moses life.

I looking into Moses life, you can truly see where God's call is upon yours. I felt like this book was a Ministry of preparation book, more than just a biography on Moses. Being somebody that's working on going into the ministry as it is it was especially helpful to me. You absolutely will not regret taking the time to dig into an understanding the life and character of Moses. Chuck Swindoll's heart flows through every word

Thoughtful

Provides a good understanding of why you do what you do and how our lives are a part of God's great plan. Very thoughtful and goes to and through the heart. I've listened over and over for hope, leadership, guidance, understanding of others and myself and learning to listen to God and live well with others. Essential for living.

Moses

He was a humble God's chosen man! He had been obeying God but yet not perfect the he let his temper caused him to sin. He had been living in an isolation after he killed one of the Egyptian authorities for a very long years till God called while he was living in a desert.

Identifiable, my life in a land the I was not born to but I have to live in by my status of marriage, I have often need to learn the patience and wait on God just as Moses waited and had to endure all things.

Not what I expected

Any additional comments?

I was expecting a book more about Moses and less about the author's thoughts. I only made it to chapter 4 before I started looking for a book that's actually about Moses.

NOT ANOUT MOSES

This is about the author and his thoughts. It's a very long, boring, book. I had to quit listening cause it would not hold my attention, even while laying in bed.
