Publisher's Summary

A forbidden and edgy boarding school romance set in a deliciously dark world where the bad boy gets the good girl even when she's off-limits.

Gemma:

We were from two completely different worlds: I was molded to follow the rules; I was the good girl living the sheltered life at St. Mary's Boarding School. But fate brought us together. Somewhere along the way, following the rules became a choice. The lines became blurred, and I was given a taste of rebellion in a package of wild blue eyes and hot, lingering touches. Our plan was set. I would escape St. Mary's, and he would stay.

Isaiah warned me that we'd go up in flames if we veered from our plan. Except there was no we about it. Isaiah Underwood let me fall right into the ashes.

Good Girls Never Rise is book one in the St. Mary's Duet and ends on a cliffhanger. It is intended for listeners 18+ and deals with subjects that some may find triggering. Please note that book two WILL end in an HEA!

Great story

"Good Girls Never Rise" unfolds a tale of unexpected connection and rebellion between two individuals from vastly different backgrounds. Gemma, the quintessential good girl, finds herself in the contrasting world of St. Mary's Boarding School. fate intervenes, bringing her together with a mysterious figure who challenges her adherence to rules and unleashes a taste of rebellion.

As the lines between obedience and defiance blur, Gemma becomes entangled with a captivating force, described with "wild blue eyes" and "hot, lingering touches." Their shared plan involves Gemma's escape from the boarding school while he stays behind. However, the narrative takes a turn when Isaiah Underwood, the mysterious figure, warns Gemma of the potential consequences, predicting they would go up in flames if they deviated from their plan.

The closing lines suggest a betrayal as Gemma accuses Isaiah of letting her "fall right into the ashes." This leaves an intriguing cliffhanger, prompting questions about the nature of their relationship, the consequences of their choices, and the impact on Gemma's journey from the sheltered life at St. Mary's to the world of rebellion.

For readers who enjoy stories of forbidden love, rebellion, and the complexities of navigating societal expectations, "Good Girls Never Rise" may provide an engaging and dramatic narrative.
