Publisher's Summary

Of the women he's dated, she isn't too picky or too critical. For Adrian, Goldie fits him just right.

Goldie Bybanks is terrible at following directions. After a mysterious letter arrives from a long-lost aunt, Goldie sets out to find answers in a part of the country she’s never been to before. But one wrong turn leads to another. Her car is running out of gas. The sun is setting. There isn’t a town in sight, much less a hotel. Before digging herself too deeply into this mysterious area, she decides to stop for the night at an abandoned cabin.

Adrian Bear is shocked to discover a beautiful blonde sleeping in his family fishing cabin. His weekend plans to locate his late father’s missing lock box quickly veer into an attempt to help Goldie find her long-lost aunt instead.

It isn’t only because Adrian is the type to aid a person in need. But because the woman who ate his oatmeal, sat in his chair, and whom he discovered sleeping at his cabin is too captivating to let go. She’s no catch-and-release. She’s a keeper. If only he could convince her of that.

True love with a twist. These billionaire fairy tale retelling take beloved stories you know and add a pinch of modern, a dash of happy, and a whole heap of clean, swoon-worthy romance. Shaken, not stirred. You'll find yourself drinking them up. Each fairy tale romance is a stand-alone and can be listened to in any order.

Measuring up and falling in love

Goldie's world has been toppled upside-down by the discovery of a family member she never knew existed.

Adrian is wrestling with the recent death of his father and harshest critic.

As their lives intertwine, they discover peace, acceptance and belonging in what started as a fake romance. The problem is, how can they break the truth to each other and those around them? And at what cost?

I really enjoyed this story. As much as it is a love story, it's also a self-love story; coming to discover who they really are and to stand up for themselves, while also learning to love themselves despite what anyone else might think.

A great fairy tale

I seriously listened to this - the first time - as a bedtime story. I wanted to listen to something calming when I went to bed. The story, though, kept me interested and Ms. Araya's voice and cadence were soothing. I did relax, but only dozed off a couple of times. Naturally, I listened to it again when I was wide awake.

Fun read with excellent narrator

I received this audiobook for free and willingly write this review. Loved the narrator! She really brought the story to life. My only complaint is that the Goldilocks and the Three Bears references we're a little silly. I felt it could references it more subtlety. The story line was fun and as always I appreciate a sweet and clean story.

Cute, sweet romance

Goldie and the Billionaire Bear is a really cute twist on the fairytale Goldilocks. It’s a fun, clean romance, and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. The narrator did a great job, and I recommend this cute story.

A sweet Goldilocks romance

This was an amusing play on the Goldilocks story within a fake girlfriend trope. It was predictable & the mom was not very believable to me; but overall the story was decently done, & it was an enjoyable diversion for a few hours.

*Clean romance level: sweet kisses

[The narrator does a creditable job with the different characters' voices, though the struggle to make a masculine sounding hero limited his emotional expression a bit]

Fun twist on a classic

This was a really well narrated and enjoyable story. Easy to listen to.

Mr Bear and Goldie hit it off right away, the chemistry undeniable. But Goldie has trust issues and is on a cross country trip to meet an aunt she knows nothing about. They fake a relationship to keep his mum and ex off his back. But as the feelings grow between them the more confused she gets until after a bombshell from her aunt she flees back home.

Will they have their HEA or are they destined to never see each other again.

I received this as a complimentary copy and I am giving my honest review voluntarily
