This epic sci fi series has shocked me by how good it is!
Serious book nerds, don't be put off by the sci fi tag, or perhaps not having heard of the author.
This is a rip-roaring, nuanced, tale. The plot twists are stunning and it's full of heart and some really lovely introspection.
Surely this is going to be optioned as a film or tv series.
The narrator is also excellent - an absolute top notch voice talent who shows you how it should be done.
