Why, if you have a male and female narrators, you would have them speak not voice their own character. It’s annoying having to hear them pretend to be the opposite character.

I really enjoyed this overall, it was a reasonable read and kept me wanting to come back for more. I’m excited for the next books to see how the storylines progress!

The story over all was good but it just didn’t go as deep as I hoped it would. Not enough details on the Heathens. That part of the story seemed to be quite important but was not really introduced very well. I would also have like to see a bit more build up to the end of the story. It sadly felt a bit rushed.

I didn’t love the voice actors. They didn’t bring the depth and emotions to the characters that I hoped for…

I loved the story and the characters, i formed a connection with them and from the very start it drags you in and keeps you hooked the whole way through.

This one started slower for me I’m not sure why. But I knew so many people loved it and stuck with it… I’m glad I did.

By the 70% mark I was in love. I had no idea where it was going next, I didn’t guess anything. I was totally invested.

I’m now so attached to killian and glyn! I love their relationship how it all opened up. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I found out after there is an earlier series about the parents, I’m keen to read those as I think these might hit harder.

It also took me a while to learn all of the characters in this book, but I feel like I’ve probably done the ground work now and the next books will flow a bit better as they’re based around a lot of these side characters.
