Story
For 300 years, The Pilgrim's Progress has remained perhaps the best-loved and most read of devotional fictions. In plain yet powerful and moving language, Bunyan tells the story of Christian's struggle to attain salvation and the Gates of Heaven. He must pass through the Slough of Despond, ward off the temptations of Vanity Fair, and fight the monstrous Apollyon. In Part II, his wife and children follow the same path, helped and protected by Great-heart, until for them, too, "the trumpets sound on the other side."

Timothy Keller focuses on Jesus' best-known parable - the prodigal son - as a paradigm for the central messages of Christianity: grace, hope and salvation. In The Prodigal God, New York pastor Timothy Keller uses the story of the prodigal son to shine a light on the beautiful central message of Jesus: the gospel of grace, hope and salvation. Keller argues that the parable of the prodigal son, while Jesus' best-known parable, is also his least understood.

All that was deeply challenged when she met a progressive pastor who called himself a hopeful agnostic. Publisher's Summary
A captivating first-person look at one of the world's most powerful prosperity dynasties that offers a unique perspective on greed, the Church, and the journey toward Truth.
Millions desperate for hope and solutions are enticed by the promise of the prosperity gospel - that God will do whatever they need with just a little faith and a financial gift. All the while, prosperity preachers exploit the poor and the needy to stockpile their riches. What can followers of the true gospel do to combat the deception?
Through a remarkable and fascinating journey, Costi Hinn went from a next-generation prosperity preacher to the first to abandon the family faith and share the true gospel. Nephew of the world-famous televangelist Benny Hinn, Costi had a front-row seat to the inner workings and theology of the prosperity gospel. But as Costi's faith deepened, so did his questions about prosperity teaching. As the deceptions in his past were exposed, Costi came face-to-face with the hypocrisy and devastation caused by his belief system and the overwhelming truth about the real Jesus Christ.
This captivating look into the daily lives of one of the world's leading prosperity dynasties offers a thoughtful perspective on the perils of greed, the power of the true gospel, and hope for the future of the global church. Through real-life stories, Costi challenges and equips listeners to be living lights pointing the way to the true gospel and the saving grace of Christ. God, Greed, and the (Prosperity) Gospel will bolster your faith and encourage your own journey toward the truth.

Finally, someone had to speak up
Great book, interesting read and real page turner.
Costi could’ve exposed his uncle years ago when he broke away from the Hinn church but he chose to start life again, relearn theology and become a real pastor before writing about the prosperity gospel, and that’s what makes this book different.

A Much Needed Book For The Modern Church
Costi Hinn,
Speaks honestly, openly and frankly about his family healing dynasty and all its short comings and scriptural abuses.
This is a must read book for any Christian in the modern chruch.
If you wish to hear about the inner workings and life style of Benny Hinn’s ministry this book is for you.
Written not to be polemical, but with a pastors heart for the global chruch and the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Costi Hinn has done a great service for all Christians by exposing the short comings of the prosperity gospel and exulting the true life giving gospel of Jesus Christ’s one to serve others not to become rich of others.

Christ Honoring Testimony by Costi
If you want to understand what makes the Health & Wealth movement tick, this book will provide an accurate look inside some of the worst offenders. At the same time Costi has been cautious not to lump all Pentecostals and Charismatics together and label them all full blown heretics. He does however not shy away from examining the skewed presuppositions, hermeneutics, and serious lack of theological understanding that is pervasive within Prosperity Preaching churches and parachurch ministries. I believe Costi has rightly communicated that there is a spectrum within the broader movement. This book is straight forward in its examination of the false teaching and hypocrisy of Prosperity Preachers. It is also a clear clairion call to the true gospel of Jesus Christ in all of its majesty, beauty, and glory. The gospel that gives true freedom and prosperity of soul.

Costi Hinn's book is simply beautiful. He is honest while humble. He is a true picture of what it means to forsake all for the Gospel. He brings credibility to a needed discussion in Christianity, and clarity on exactly what truly is the Gospel. He paid a high price to speak the truth.

This explains why I don’t like church.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Costi Hinn’s story about his experience with the prosperity gospel opened my eyes to what I have felt for many years. I now understand what I thought I believed about the big name televangelists and many local preachers I have encountered during my Christian journey. I’m encouraged to venture back into church but, I am going in with open eyes and an open heart. Thank you Costi. I now think it’s possible for me to enjoy church and the Christian life again.

I appreciate the transparency of this book. Costi put his personal behavior on display as a response to the prosperity gospel and didn't make this a tell of where he aired out dirty laundry in deep detail. as some one who grew up seeing Benny Hinn each morning before school this was sobering and confirmed what I already thinking.
