Publisher's Summary

Here is a book that applies the lessons of the best-selling parable The Go-Giver to real-world situations.

The Go-Giver took the business world by storm with its message that giving is the most fulfilling and most effective path to success. It has inspired more than 125,000 readers and listeners—but some have wondered how the story's lessons stand up to the tough challenges of everyday, real-world business. Now Bob Burg and John David Mann answer that question in Go-Givers Sell More, a practical guide that makes giving the cornerstone of a powerful and effective approach to selling.

Most of us think of sales as convincing potential customers to believe or do something they don't really want to. But that cutthroat mentality makes the process much harder than it has to be—especially in an economic downturn, when customers are more suspicious and defensive. It's far more productive (and satisfying) when salespeople think like Go-Givers and focus exclusively on creating value for the customer. Cultivate a trusting relationship and provide outstanding service, say the authors, and great results will follow automatically. Illustrating their points with a wide range of real-life examples, Burg and Mann offer tips and strategies that anyone in sales can start applying right away.

Better than any sales course I have done

Would you listen to Go-Givers Sell More again? Why?

Yes, It teaches you not just about sales but also about humanity and how we should interact with our fellow man.

What about Bob Burg and John Mann ’s performance did you like?

Great way of teaching such fundamentals about selling and life itself. Good examples dispersed throughout.

Any additional comments?

Loved it. Waiting for The Go-Giver itself to appear on Audible. From someone who doesn't like sales, this is a great book.

Go-give to grow your business

This book is loaded with key business mindsets. Not necessarily a how to, even though it has that as well. The book's goal is to provide the reader a clear definition of giving. Why giving is so critical to a businessmen long term success, but that also good management, value products and services sold at a fare profit are just as important. The book has the balance and understanding that one cannot give if your business can not be self-sustaining. This is a great book for those just entering into sales, marketing, leadership, and as an owner/manger. It can be a bit soft/slow. Parts will challenge some peoples ego, as well as potentially upset those that are self-centered or narcissistic, but that's OK, because you'll learn how giving will benefit you. The key is balance. To listen to the book, understand your style, and look at how blending the two can add to your business, your life, and your relationships.

best audiobook I've ever listened to

this has been the best audiobook I've ever listened to and the nuggets and chips that they teach here are very much relevant to All of My Success in business. after being in network marketing for 10 years and just now breaking into the real estate world I am absolutely thrilled to have listened to this because it brings so much more clarity to a dog-eat-dog sales world that we all live in and this really allows us to set ourselves apart from what is considered normal today.

Is this book just talking about another book?

This is a good book, but it sounds like they're just talking about another book?? I guess I need to find that book! If that is the case, I couldn't tell from the title that this isn't the original.

Bravo!

There's so much knowledge and wisdom to be gleaned in all of the go Giver series books.

As far as I know I think I have them all. Next book on my list to listen to on Audible is the go Giver influencer, I have the book version of the go Giver leader on my desk.
it wouldn't matter if you're in sales or not or any kind of business, this is just a good book to read for living a better quality life.

Not just for sales people

It offers practical advice on, how it is worth living your life. I can truly resonate with the message of this book. An excellent listen! It feels like you have a conversation with the authors. It is a brilliant idea of them to read the book themselves. Makes you appreciate the message even more. That's what I call leading by example.
