Sad, hopeful, poignant and fascinating! A story of survival or not... loved it! Beautifully read... highly recommend.

This is such a hard and gritty story. The amazingly talented Holiday Grainger presents it with such depth and poise without ungainly overdramatised effect.

very well written but difficult to follow. Lots of jumping back and forth in time line without defining sections. Reader read well. overall a bit disappointed as I would have liked it a lot more if it had two readers, or the one reader that could change tone for the present day story and memory sections.

potential to be a great story.

I was completely hooked on this book, however in the end I thought to myself ‘really?’.

Just disappointed in where the plot went.

Strong start, blah finish.
