If Frank Herbert had written Dune while listening exclusively too My Chemical Romance and playing Bloodborne, I imagine this would have been the result.

Moria Quirk did a brilliant job of bringing the characters and the story to life!
Muir’s writing style is witty and confusing, while keeping you engaged with JUST enough insight to stop you rage quitting.
This isn’t my usual style of book, sci-fi and I are not friends, but this was an interesting listen and I’ll be continuing the rest of the trilogy asap!

A few moments throughout the book, I was not sure if I was going to finish it, but I kept going back and I wasn’t disappointed.

This book was so unique and well made that it will leave a very long lasting impression on me.
it was the perfect amount of horror, chemistry and mystery.
I did have to pay more attention than other books though as the world building was very complex but through the eyes of Gideon, it made sense that nothing made sense.
