I hate abridged versions especially when I’ve read the book. I’m now unable to read my books and trying to replace them with audio. Paying full price for an abridged version really peeved me.

Knowing the original story, I was disappointed because I know the original details which added so much to the drama. Too much of the story was cut out for me, but someone who is not familiar with the original story would probably feel entirely different. The reading was excellent.
