I was kinda expecting just another hockey romance (which is no bad thing). But instead I got a thoughtful story that doesn’t glaze over the struggles of substance abuse. It was great to see the functioning side of addition as well as the destructive side, and to also see a relationship development that didn’t begin because they had to solve each other’s problems. Instead they grew to know and love each other and the care and support followed. Totes recommended. Narration top notch. X
