Publisher's Summary

The best-selling author of Head Strong and The Bulletproof Diet answers the question 'how do I kick more ass?' - providing proven techniques for becoming happier, healthier and smarter, culled from the wisdom and insight of world-class thought leaders and mavericks of science and business.

When Dave Asprey started his Bulletproof Radio podcast more than five years ago, he sought out thought leaders and influencers in an array of disciplines, from biochemists to business titans to mediation masters. These folks were some of the top performing humans in the world, people who had changed their areas of study or even pioneered entirely new fields. Dave wanted to know: What did they have in common? What mattered most to them? What makes them so successful at what they do - and what makes them happiest? And so, at the end of each interview, Dave began asking the same question: 'What are your top three recommendations for people who want to kick more ass?'

Combing through the recordings, looking for patterns and common threads, he found that the wisdom gleaned from these highly successful people can be distilled into three main categories: body, mind, and spirit. Game Changers is the culmination of Dave’s years-long statistical analysis of these conversations, offering 36 science-backed, high-performance 'laws' that are a virtual playbook for how to become not only more successful but also happier and healthier.

Each chapter of Game Changers is structured around one of these laws. Dave combines anecdotes from game changers like Daniel Amen, David Perlmutter, Arianna Huffington, Dan Harris and Tim Ferris with his own research and practical advice that listeners can put into action immediately. From practising gratitude and mindfulness to prioritising social connections and sex, taming fear and anxiety to optimising nutrition and movement, Dave brings together the wisdom of today’s game changers to help everyone optimise their lives.

Best parenting book ever!

This book teaches you how to do things that have immediate results. I started listening to it and realized this is what my kids need to know, what I needed to know when I was a kid (minus the sex stuff of course which I found extremely enlightening).
Weasel words are now pointed out to each family member if they use them. I love how Dave highlights the greats in his life and shares there knowledge. It all starts from the start there is no boring start waiting to get into it. I will re listen to this and take notes. it is like his podcasts condensed into one book. Aaaaamazing!!!!! Value value value!!!! Thank you so much Dave, out of everyone I follow and listen to you are the most impactful for me and my family and anyone else who will listen to me that want better health and mental clarity.

If you only buy one book this year. This is it

Phenomenal iteration of a merge of over 500 podcasts with the best in the business, lifestyle, health and fitness, wellness and bio hacking. I am a fan of Dave Asprey, so slightly biased, but I’ve now gifted this book to my closest friends and family as soon as I finished the book.

An amazing read. An Encyclopaedia for life.

Regards
Christopher Chappell.

Gamechanger Indeed

Even if I wasn't in love with Dave Asprey, I'd say this book changed my life ❣️

Only problem with it is that I now need the hard copy as a permanent reference source for all the amazing info this contains! A must read.

Why do authors choose to outsource their narrating?! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

I was loving this book during the introduction, Dave did an awesome job creating interest in the content and loved hearing the passion in his voice that can only come from sharing a story you’ve lived first hand.

And then all that excitement to hear his material went away in the blink of an eye when he made the disastrous decision to outsource the narration of the book beyond the intro to a “professional narrator” who yes anunciated his words perfectly and was very well spoken but was also as boring at batsh*t to listen to, to the point where I was forced to turn it off and returned the book because I just have no interest in spending hours listening to someone read off a page.

Why it was oursourced is irrelevant but Dave would have served his readers far greater if he’d read it himself, because it’s put me off buying any of his audible books now which are probably jam packed with amazing content.

I’ll likely buy the physical version of this book but wouldn’t recommend the audible version unless you’re looking for a cure for insomnia.

Incredibly easy and right on point in every page.

I read his bulletproof diet before this one, and this book is another continuation of self development masterpiece that anyone should listen or read. narrator's voice was very soothing at the same time memorable so that I felt as if I am meditating while listening. I would continue to read his headstrong or superhuman after this. Dave Asprey is the guy who writes and act upon his rules and active in social media presence which helps me to feel what it is like being game changers or high performansers.

For square pegs that don't fit in a round holes

I thought it was going to be similar to his other books, but I was surprised that it had a lot of new Game Changing ideas.
I really liked it.
I would highly recommend it for anyone wanting to try out of the box concepts to getting ahead in life.
It's not for closed minded people.

Tools of titans perfected!

If I could take one book into a post apocalypse world, this would be a very good choice. Dave, I'm far away in London but would love to thank you one day in person for this and the hundreds of podcasts I've lapped up. Perhaps at Burning man this year or next.

The sort of brillinat content l expect from Dave

Content was brilliant, if you listen to his podcasts you will have heard quite a bit of it before, but its presented well and is very inspiring. The only downside is the narration, Dave narrates small segments and does so with energy and vibe, but the rest is monotone and robotic, this is a real shame and distracts from the quality of the material. A dull narrator going through the motions.

Practical and cutting-edge

The advice given is practical, useful and manageable. The fact that this book represents analysis from hundreds of hours of interviews of successful and happy people means that the most pertinent advice is clear and is not just the opinion of Dave Asprey; much as he is incredibly knowledgeable!

The narration is well-delivered, it’s easy to forget that the narrator is not the original author.

I had implemented a few of these techniques and strategies into my life over the past few years. For everything I’m already doing, I now have a deeper understanding and I have 5-10 extra techniques which I am putting in to action. That’s excellent value for one book.

One important point to make is that Asprey is not at all prescriptive with his advice. It all comes with a “This is what the Game Changers of the world are doing, but it’s up to you.” This low-pressure delivery made me more inclined to explore the strategies mentioned, as opposed to feeling overwhelmed with all the things I “should” be doing.

Great book.

Awesome self help book

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a good life hack and feels that they have areas of their health and well-being that they could improve.
Some interesting suggestion which have worked for me and written in a way to help expand your mind as to what’s possible rather than ramming things down your throat.
Will definitely pick on some of the authors other work after this.

Dangerous Pseudoscience

Some quite dangerous advice in this book. Make sure you validate anything you consider adopting with reputable sources.
