It held me but I found the female protagonist less convincing. The author is very promising. The male reader is much superior to the female reader who pronounces an annoying hard “g” all the time in words which do t need it. It might be her regional accent.

Great book - brilliantly written and beautifully narrated. Really liked the writing style and now onto another book by JS (which I am also enjoying).
"Fruit Fly" is the first book in a long time, that has provoked in me a sense of animosity towards a fictional character. Really wanted to see Ronan get his comeuppance! Thoroughly enjoyed the book and highly recommend.
