Absolutely loved this story. Aly had a way of making you feel every moment and every emotion.

This Story was not at all what I thought it was going to be. I listened to this via audiobook and Connor Crais and Erin Mallon are absolutely perfect in this performance.

Tragedy strikes 2 families and Bree and Eason survive a house fire that claims each of their partners.

While dealing with the grief and the stress that comes with loosing a loved one they support each other the best they can. However Eason makes a discovery that changes their whole perspective on their relationships they had with the ones they lost.

The trauma and heartache that grows in this book, I was not adequately prepared. Once the first twist dropped I couldn't hit pause I had lots of WTF moments and the ending was thriller perfection.

An unexpected find that I am so glad I tried.

I enjoyed this book (though it was probably not a good choice for me personally), I wish that the suspense of the final part of the book was more drawn out because it was really interesting, I loved the twist I didn’t see it coming!
