I knew this would be an easygoing storyline, which was fine, but I found many of the details and the accents confusing. Scotland? Ireland? It certainly didn't feel like Scotland to me at all. Maybe more background research would have made it more believable.

The storyline had potential but that is all. Unfortunately the characters were unlikeable and lacked depth. If you are hoping for a grand adventure give this one a miss.

I pushed through a few chapters......but I am so annoyed at the spoilt, bratty leads that I found myself feeling angry!
It is probably a cultural bias, but intense, entitled spoilt brats, coupled with a grating American accent (reader) cut no ice with me. Signed : laid-back Australian!
