------------------------------

Death imitates art in the brand-new crime thriller starring homicide cop Eve Dallas from the Sunday Times bestselling author J.D. Robb.

Manhattan is filled with galleries and deep-pocketed collectors who can make an artist's career with a wave of a hand. But one man toils in obscurity, his brilliance unrecognized while lesser talents bask in the glory he believes should be his. Come tomorrow, he vows, the city will be buzzing about his work.

Indeed, before dawn, Lt. Eve Dallas is speeding toward the home of the two gallery owners whose doorway has been turned into a horrifying crime scene overnight. A lifeless young woman has been elaborately costumed and precisely posed to resemble the model of a long-ago Dutch master. Can Eve unravel the twisted mind of a serial killer before he strikes again...

Gripping amusement in parts and rock the silence Sentinel the plot was good why it was all put together from start to finish was good. Couldn’t stop listening.

I'm 61 books into the series and still loving them. Susan Ericksen once again shows her talent and skill with accents and narrating genius with multiple characters both male and female. The tech speak and futuristic jargon have begun to slip into my vocabulary and I'm so familiar with the characters they feel like friends which is alt mag! The wait for more will be tedious - sigh! Thanks JD Robb/Nora Roberts you spark my imagination and entertain me for hours.

Another great read in the series

I started this series on audible in 2020, have listened to all of them. it's become a comfort blanket and I look forward to each new release. the narrator and the characters feel like family now after 60 or so books read by Susan and i truly hope she sees the series through to the end.

enjoyable as always

Another great JD Robb book.
It was awesome to see the big house project completed.
Jonathon was an entitled SOB.
Love how this book wrapped up

Twisted

A good story, I’ve listened to and enjoyed all of Eve Dallas’ stories. I enjoy the relationships and banter most, the murders are becoming a bit formulaic. I’d like to see some new developments in the storyline - eg Dallas and Rorke starting their own family; more engagement with Rorke’s Irish family etc.

Enjoyed as always

Another great story and wonderful narration. I especially liked how the end played out with a bit of extra action foreseeing and squashing the entitled who thought they were untouchable. Great team giving their all for their awesome lieutenant who always stands for the dead

Loved it again

This one felt like it was a ring-in tbh. No real depth to the bad guy, no external storylines no interactions with extraneous characters just, meh.

Average offering.
