Fabulous!

If one grows wary of lackluster and dim contemporary publications, they should feast on the timeless scrutiny of these delicate treasures.

Not funny

The translation is archaic ('thee/thou'). It's not funny. Comedy should be translated into contemporary English. I couldn't bear to listen to much of it. Aristophanes deserves much better.
