The only bad thing about this book was how quickly it ended. I will need to listen to it again for sure but I was so hooked that I think I needed more time with the loved up couple at the end to heal from all the sadness.

It was a bit hard to get in to it as I normally listen from narrator perspective not first person. But I’m so glad I kept listening. Wow. This book kept me crying and sobbing and wanting to know more. Exact balance between before and present. I think I would’ve like to know more what happens after but just because I’m being greedy. I fully recommend this book if you want to have a good cry and warm your heart. I fell in love with both main characters but Ashley. Oh God. She’s in another level. Also Lori Prince as good as always. She put the feelings and I’m still not really sure how was she able to read through the pages without crying herself.

I throughly enjoyed this story. A known Trope with new colours. Always love Lori Princes performances one of the best narrators out there and she really bought this to life.
