Publisher's Summary

They broke my halo. Burned my wings. Sent me plummeting straight to Hell.

When I'm captured by demons and forced into the fighting pits of the Seventh Circle of Hell, I need to stay alive long enough to claw my way back to Heaven and destroy the archangels who betrayed me.

Four dangerous men stand between me and my vengeance.

A deadly Nephilim in self-imposed exile. Hunger incarnate, ravenous for an angel. The heir to Satan's sinful throne. And the prince who bound my soul to his until I win my freedom. They think I'm still pure. They think I'm innocent. They think they'll enjoy corrupting me.

Joke's on them. This angel's no saint. If Heaven doesn't want me, I'll be bad for the Hell of it.

Contains mature themes.

Loved It

This story begins with an angel falling from heaven, he broke my halo, burned my wings and sent me plummeting straight to Hell and I would have my revenge on Gabriel. I would first have to work out what was happening to me as I am captured by the Prince of Wrath, Belial and sent straight to the fighting pits of the Seventh Circle of Hell even though I can barely stand and can't think straight, the after effects of my fall from heaven, I still win my first fight. The Prince of Wrath, Belial then binds my soul to his until I can win my freedom. He does this mostly because Lucifer and a Watcher, Azazel show great interest in me. There is another character that takes her interest a Nephilim, Tascius and we end up with a reverse harem in the end, you go girl. There are numerous plots forming in this story and there is the odd surprise along the way when the truth behind her fall is revealed and her beauty and determination has all the demons falling at her feet.

Awesome Story & Narration🎧 Fascinating🔥PNR🔥

Wow, this is an awesome paranormal reverse harem romance. Cate Corvin is a gifted author, she created a fascinating and original story, the storylines, characters and world dynamics are imaginative yet realistic enough to relate to and connect with. The book grabs your attention right from the start and holds it captive straight to the end. Melisande, a fallen angel who was unjustly pushed from Heaven into Hell and she is not happy about it. Trying to pick herself up she finds her white wings are now blackened, she is also hurting and to make her day even worse she gets captured by a demon, Belial, the Prince of Wrath. Belial has plans for the fallen angel and brings her back to home, the Seventh Circle of Hell. She wants to find her way back to Heaven and Gabriel, she wants her revenge but she will have to fight her way out of Hell to get it. Melisande is on badass angel, she stands up to the best of them and even grows a fan base. She meets some interesting characters down there too, befriending Tascius, a warrior, a son of a nephilim and archangel. Lucifer takes to her as well, as does Azazel who had to make his own deal with the devil to help save his sister Vyra from him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is great world building and the story is cleverly plotted. There is never a dull moment with is plenty of drama, angst, thrilling and suspenseful moments, some emotional and heartfelt moments and some hot romance. I am curious to see happens next for Melissande, what will become of her and her demons and angels. Also, hints are dropped, there seems to be some sort of master plan going on, where does she and the other characters fit in. I am looking forward to finding out, hope the book comes to Audible soon. Cate Corvin, thank you for this wonderful story! Sarah Puckett and Alexander Cendese are talented, top notch narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life, giving each their own voice and personality. as well as heart and attitude. They do an amazing job portraying the characters, Sarah Puckett truly grasped Melisande’s persona, capturing her badassery to a tee, sounding just as I pictured her to sound. Alexander Cendese was awesome portraying his characters too, the alpha demons and archangels. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Great Story and Characters a must listen!

I love this fallen angel, she is kick ass and nothing is going to stop her from her goals (revenge - whatever). She has her world turned upside down and keeps adjusting and love me some demons. Great male characters are all different with different agendas, Can't get enough of the story line. Love the narrators, the one thing I will say is why is that women can do male voices and make them sound sexy but when the men do the female voices the so miss the mark? I cannot wait for book 2.

narrator

Sarah Puckett has a lovely voice and brings her characters to life with it. she does have some issues with pronunciations though, particularly with the names of some demons and creatures. Alexander Cendese on the other hand has an extremely whiney voice and I dont believe he was a good choice for this book, I'm sure he would do a wonderful job with a villainous character but cannot quite voice the deep baritone I expected. the story is beautiful, just what you want from a RH romance. melisande is a strong woman who will allow noone power over her and will not be deterred from her path. definitely worth the read.

GREAT story, not so great male narrator

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK! It’s everything I want in a reverse harem story! The only drawback is the male narrator in my opinion... Maybe it’s just personal preference but I didn’t really enjoy his voice... It’s fine though because most chapters are narrated by the heroine ☺️

unexpectedly unique

interesting world creation and the romantic interests aren't formulaic. only real issue was with the male narrator's version of a female voice.
