Well the 4th book in the series was brilliant. The storyline of the war was sad but so true, according to history. The redcoats quite often were a very violent and crude bunch. The officers were worse!
But there were two things that were rather annoying through the series. The explicit love and sex scenes that were certainly not “𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑝𝑒𝑟“, and the prolific swearing 🤬. I don’t really understand the whole point of it. Especially the woman!
