About this listen

How can biblical authority be a reality for those shaped by the modern world? This book treats the First World as a mission field, offering a unique perspective on the relationship between the gospel and current society by presenting an outsider's view of contemporary Western culture.

A good and welcome approach to reconnecting with our culture without assuming what we often do. But then strays out too far into aspects of science, politics, history etc. to maintain focus. I feel like the author has bitten off more than he can chew. From the readers perspective, it doesn't quite manage the balance between being too focussed and not focussed enough.
