A terrific journey; well worth the money. Arthur C Clarke is a visionary. Too bad there is no more.

Long and slow like a soap opera. He should have left the space operas to Alastair Reynolds.

I always enjoy a good audiobook from either of these authors and they seem to work very well together. Overall, I preferred book one the most by far, but it’s nice to carry a series through to the conclusion.

Big shout out to John Lee, he really put a lot of efforts into his accents this time. It’s hard to imagine a Belgium/Australian accent or a French/Texas accent but somehow he manages it. I felt it was a really nice touch to show cultural mixing in humanities journey to the stars.

There is nothing more frustrating than a story that skips and is therefore confusing and doesn't cleanly close the story thread. With a little more editing this could have been awesome.
