Publisher's Summary
When Charlie arrives in a new town, he goes looking for a job at the surrounding ranches. There’s nothing available and he thinks he’s wasted his time when the owner of the last ranch he turns up at isn’t available. The owner’s dad is there though and offers a deal. He’ll make sure work will be offered if he gets what he wants. Charlie isn’t sure when he hears what that is, but eventually decides to take the offer and willingly lets himself be used as a plaything by an older man in exchange for a job.
