Publisher's Summary

From the author of Murder Most Unladylike.

Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are taking a holiday on the world-famous Orient Express - and it's clear that each of their fellow first-class passengers has something to hide. Even more intriguing: there is rumour of a spy in their midst.

Then, during dinner, there is a scream from inside one of the cabins. When the door is broken down, a passenger is found murdered, her stunning ruby necklace gone. But the killer has vanished - as if into thin air. Daisy and Hazel are faced with their first ever locked-room mystery, and with competition from several other sleuths, who are just as determined to crack the case.

amazing narrator and a very entertaining story

This narrator is amazing, she really dives us into the story (both her voice and the way she tells de story). And as always, Murder Most Unladylike keeps being amazing and very entertaining. I love the parallel between the title/story of First Class Murder and the Agatha Christie's Murder on the Orient Express. The characters were very charismatic too, I like even the bad ones!

listened for ages still haven't got bored of it

it's really good for helping you get to sleep when you can't. It did get a little bit gross with the body being found though

Worth a listen

I did enjoy the story and despite it being aimed at a younger audience, it had some nice quirks and twists to it. Perhaps it’s just a personal dislike - I found the narrator’s voice irritating at first, but gradually got used to it. Good ending and a nice easy-going story for anyone looking for a more light-hearted murder mystery.

Lots of edit errors

Good reader and excellent stories but many reader’s errors uncorrected and unedited across all of these books. Pay attention publishers!

Narrator is appalling

Never a less engaging narrator than this one. I found myself annoyed by thinking that she hadn't got the measure of some of the sentences and was literally just reading without conveying the proper inflection on words. Over time this gets really really irritating! Cannot allow the children to download another of these books as a consequence. Also the stories are pretty much the same after the first one or two.
