I found at the beginning of the book whenever they spoke over the radios it was really hard to hear so I end up missing some of it even with the volume on full

My first Brandon Sanderson series and as a middle age adult who is fond of comics from days gone by, this author manages to recapture what I feel is missing from many books these days, a level of originality and description that makes me want to see the story through the eyes of the main character. I love the the level of super powers used and the storylines the character have. Some characters frustrate me so much while others I just want to see being lifted to the spotlight, which adds to the emotions this book draws out of me. The way this novel holds me, it makes it very hard to stop for sleep! The person who reads this series is able to capture the voices so well, Male and female and bring them to life, as well as step out to narrate when needed.
This has been a very enjoyable read and am looking forward to beginning the third book in the series almost immediately!

I am really enjoying the reckoner series. I read the first book and decided to listen to this one (the second one). The narrator is a master of his art. His ability to stay in character for the range of character is truely inspiring and adds to the overall experience. Well worth listening to.
