There is no doubt that CTE does a lot of damage to athletes but it certainly has nothing to do with “fighting” and everything to do with genetic disposition, personality and men hitting each other frequently at massive speeds. There was definitely something wrong with Murph cognitively a long time before he started hockey and even more after he did. He is not a case that should be look at for future consideration.
