Really enjoyed this story and unlike many in the reviews I enjoyed the narrators accent and the way she tells the story. My favourite read in a while. Look forward to reading the next book!

At the beginning the unsecurity of the main character unnerved me. As she grew out of it, the book regained momentum and got very pleasant. If only the voice would not be so shrill sometimes.

Clever use of dialogue in this engaging listen. An interesting exploration of family relationships. I liked the narration, it added to the story ( the emphasise on the chapter numbers was a bit strange but easily overlooked)

A lovely story that bubbles along with twists and turns. I was frustrated at beginning with the protagonist but felt really intrigued by and invested in the story, so carried on to the end and glad I did. I played it on 1.2x speed as the reader was a little slow for me.

I love a good romance where the FMC and the MMC have been through it and this book delivered.
Her mother was vile, but the family were nuts to tolerate that, but it made for a great emotive drive for the main character and her happiness.

I absolutely loved this book ….. so many life lessons we can take from it! The narrator was awesome and did an excellent job. This is a feel good story and so worth listening to. Can’t wait for the next one!
