Far too long

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I'd take out half the adjectives . "Glorious" is certainly very overused .

What was most disappointing about Catherine Alliott’s story?

It started off well but sagged in the middle .

Have you listened to any of Julia Franklin’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Very easy to listen to .

Was Wish You Were Here worth the listening time?

Most of it .

A disappointment

I always look forward to another book from this author. This one, however, was below average. The story line is thin without compensating charm, the characters annoying, and the narration breathy. Two stars because I made it to the end. I would skip this one.

Slow burn

This starts slowly & I nearly gave up , but it evolves in a thought provoking and enjoyable listen . Glad I stuck with it

Not the greatest Catherine Alliott book.

Disappointing, storyline is weak and very predictable.
If you are looking for an easy listen without concentrating too much, this is for you. If you require something substantial with realistic story lines them give this a miss.

Enjoyable story line with a few unexpected twists

Well written story by Catherine Alliot. A good read for women 40 +. Reminds you that we all have history and dreams. Wonderfully narrated by Julia Franklin.

Really enjoyed this a lot

Highly recommended - great plot and well written, especially characterisation. couldn't put it down. Also descriptions of scenery.
