Reader hard to listen too.

I am finding the reader very slow and monotonous to listen too which is s shame as I’m sure the book will be good but can’t go any further .

Beautifully Written. Hard to put down.

What a beautiful story. I really didn’t want this one to end. The author easily transported me through history, describing the depression and the tribulations faced by the Hass family so well I almost believed I was there.
I look forward to her next book.

enjoyable!

thoroughly enjoyed this book set in 1920s Australia. great characters and a nicely paced unraveling of the story!
