"Decent but not quite the same monster hunter"

The stories were ok with some being really well done and others falling very flat. Oliver Wyman was excellent as always but the other narrators were not good. Overall 3.5 worth a listen.

"Did not realize it was a Larry Correia book."

Boring, dumb, not worth the effort, except for Jim Butcher. Did not realize it was part of the
    Larry Correia Monster Hunter series.

"Do not buy if you love Larry Correia. "

This book is not part of the Monster Hunter series. I hated it. Why Correia allowed other authors to write stories using his fabulous characters is beyond me. I want my money back

"And what did they do next?"

I really enjoyed this, and hope more come out in this series soon. I'm getting ready to read Sinners, then I might just go back and re-read the whole series.

These are stories of different MHI characters. There are some great ancillary characters , and I hope they show up in future books. This book helps round out MHI by showing glimpses into the lives of other monster hunters. There was only one story I don't like, and another that just leaves me scratching my head.

    Narrators were great.

This book has lots of bad language, and of course, lots of violence, as usual. If you haven't read any of the other books, start with book one. I'm not a violence /language fan in books, but these are just good books.

I WOULD NOT LET THESE books be read by children under 16 at least. They are vividly written, enough to give a child nightmares, especially the older children, (evidence gained from my own children from other innocuous reading) even if you don't care about your children being inundated by the F* word and other, and constant violence. They are enjoyable adult books.

    "Good but not Great"

I am a huge fan of Monster Hunters inc., but was disappointed in a few of the short stories. While most were great, a few of them I could not get into or were not what I have come to expect from this universe.

    "Great Anthology"

As with any anthology, there are some stories that are better than others. While I’m not going to pick out any stories, favorites or not, I will say that there is plenty of variety. There are some new characters, and some different perspectives from established ones. Overall the book is great.
Oliver Wyman continues to be outstanding, and Kristine Hvam and Bailey Carr also provide good narration. I haven’t heard either of their work before, but I would be happy to listen to more from both.

    "Well that happened!!!!"

What can i say, this book is a mix of stories. If you are in to the Monster Hunter books, it will fill in some of the characters back stories. it makes me like them a little more. It is nice the hear others and the weird shit, I`m talking about the rats. (if you can please have more stories with Justinian`s army)

"Novel quality work in an Anthology"

It's rare that anthology books, a collection of short stories, are as good as a full novel, but this nails it. Each piece is its own work of art, and they mesh together and provide additional substance to the greater world in which they belong.
Excellent narration, entertaining stories, and a great expansion to the series.
