Publisher's Summary

The Misremembered Man is a beautifully rendered portrait of life in rural Ireland which charms and delights with its authentic characters and gentle humor. This vivid portrayal of the universal search for love brings with it a darker tale, heartbreaking in its poignancy.

Engaging Tale

This was a very good book to listen to as the characters were not perfect but all major characters had normal human emotions. The Irish brogue was sometimes a little hard to understand but it also helps the telling of the story. Very good book.

I’m So Glad This Is Finally Available Through Audible!

Christina McKenna creates such unique and engaging characters, many of them appear to be simple, but are actually quite wise in their own way.
I enjoy the fact that although her books are somewhat lighthearted, they do inform us of serious subjects that were actually occurring at that particular time in Irish history.
I think her books are a good introduction for readers/listeners, especially in the US, who are not as familiar with these events.
I have listened to; The Disenchanted Widow and The Godforsaken daughter.
I have been waiting a long time for a Audible to have more of her titles available. So glad they finally do!
Out of the three books that I have listen to by this author, I definitely enjoyed this narrator most.
As for who I would recommend this book to, definitely anyone who enjoys Patrick Taylor’s books.
Anyone that enjoys quirky small-town characters with a bit of mystery thrown in, will enjoy these books.
In my opinion, this authors books are informative, entertaining, inspirational and non-offensive.
