Loved it because Jack was at sea a lot more which make the storyline more enjoyable.

Still enjoying the series

One is easily captured by the stories of the two main characters, Aubrey and Maturin. I risk making them too real in my mind. My one regret is that at the time of this second reading of the series I have not gained much more knowledge of naval facts or strategies and hence some of the details described "wash over me" if you will excuse the pun.
