Generic airport reading, with a horse.

A mildly interesting, wildly implausible story, with 2-dimensional characters who perform with such moronic predictability that they are constantly surprised by what happens around them. A narrator who takes verbal stereotyping to the next level in her quest to put some life into the book’s inhabitants.

Males voices ruined the book

The story was wonderful however the character that played the male voices ruined the story and I believe did not portray the personality written in the words. It made me not want to listen at all. However the story line was so wonderful i kept going back.

Grit and determination

Such a challenging life for Sarah, love how so many parts (people) were needed to make the whole

A complicated, wonderful story

A lovely book. Highly recommended

I didn't want this book to end. It was obviously written by someone who loves horses and who could relate to a young girl who shared that love (as I did as a girl) and Jojo Moyes moving Dedication explained it all.

I was nearly put off by a number of scathing reviews of the narration, but I felt that Julia Franklin did a great job of bringing the characters to life, including her renditions of most of the male voices.

My Favourite Book By Jo Jo Moyes

I have read a number of books by this author and enjoyed all of them, some more than others. However this book is by far my favourite. The narration was very well done and the story incredibly compelling.

As a mother of a horse loving daughter I could completely relate to the incredible relationship people can have with horses and the wealth of gifts that relationship can provide. However i think anyone could enjoy this well written story.

Stunning novel

This novel is stunning and the narration is beautiful. Once again, Jojo Moyes has delivered characters who stay with you long after the final chapter.

So good..so many tears

I loved this book. I cried so many times throughout. I found it so easy to fall in and feel like I was there. Didn’t want it to end. Highly recommend. Especially if you’re a horse lover.

loved it. Written really well. couldn't stop listening. Very moving at times. Romance, horses, kids all woven into a really gripping story but one that didn't lack authenticity.
