Neil Gaiman does a phenomenal job at illustrating the stories of Norse gods and goddesses and his narration brings great life to each character. A pleasure to listen, I wish there were more!

The storytelling was fun in both content and narration. I wish Neil Gaiman would read me more of these lighthearted, yet interesting tales, before tucking me into bed and letting me dream of the horrors of ragnarok.

This book is amazing. Neil Gaiman not only writes beautifully, articulately and with an obvious genuine love of mythology, but he narrates with delightful cheeky humour. He brings the characters to life in a way that had me, my husband, my teenage daughter and our seven year old son all engaged and chortling happily.

Brilliant, Funny Retelling of the Norse Myths

As Neil reads his work it is clearly evident the passion he has for Norse mythology, the stories ate yruly wondetful and well researched. Ive read the Prose Edda myself and highly recommend this book for newbies who want to learn about the old Nordic belief system... 10/10 loved every minute!!

I originally read the physical copy of this book and I enjoyed it so much that I purchased the audiobook to enjoy it again as I have always found Neil Gaiman's voice one of the best for storytelling. Not only did it not disappoint but I enjoyed it so much that it has become my go to audiobook to listen to when I want to wind down and tune out and be taken to another world.
Gaiman's narration takes these already incredible tales to another level.
