Story
The golden skies, the translucent twilight, the white nights all hold the promise of youth, of love, of eternal renewal. The war has not yet touched this city of fallen grandeur or the lives of two sisters, Tatiana and Dasha Metanova, who share a single room in a cramped apartment with their brother and parents. Their world is turned upside down when Hitler's armies attack Russia and begin their unstoppable blitz to Leningrad.

Awesome.
As a TBH lover, this book not only doesn't disappoint, but gives you some Barrington to pine over. Would be happy for Simon's to keep piggybacking off that saga for the rest of her career. I'd read all of them.
If you haven't read TBH saga, go and do that before you read this. It will mean more.

Amazing as always!
Like all her other books, the only disappointing part is getting to the end, knowing there won’t be anymore to read.
