Great Storyline as always!
This narrator was not the best, most of B.J audio books have been narrated by men which i think is more appropriate because her tales always have a strong male character. I have read Indigo and this narrator emasculated Galen. Also, her halting speech and monotone voice took alot to get use to. I am sad to see she is also narrorating Vivid another great B.J novel. Fortunately Ms Jenkins weaves such a great storyline that one can get over the narrators performance. In the future I think Thomas Penny or Kevin Free should stick with narrating Ms Jenkins historical romances!

could be better
An interesting story tarnished by mediocre performance, the narrator has an annoying tendency of pausing at inappropriate and odd places that significantly affect the flow. There are also incidents of passages that have been re-recorded and superimposed but these were poorly executed because they were of different tones and pitches, making them obviously out of place.

Not my type of book
This book read like a Mills and Boons, crossed by history about slavery. Weird not my kind of book at all
