Publisher's Summary

Jess made a mistake. She married too young, to the wrong man. The problem is hawks mate for life. To add more insult to the situation, her mate, Freddie, isn't interested in keeping his vows, and it looks like he isn't coming home anytime soon. Freddie doesn't want Jess...but sexy grizzly bear Travis does. And oh, how Jess wants him too - even though she knows that she can't have him.

However, Jess' marital problems aren't the only issue. Jess and Travis' pursuit of the nefarious being behind the attacks on their town is being sabotaged by treachery. When the two of them barely survive an ambush, Jess can no longer deny her love for the rascally bear. Can the pair dodge death long enough to see if it's possible for Jess to rectify a wrong and take Travis as her mate?

Wonderful to listen to this book in audible.

Wonderful to listen to this book in audible.
Narration wasn’t fantastic as some of her voices annoyed me but overall the story comes across extremely well.
BOOK REVIEW
4.5 Stars and the end of a great series.
Loved how this all played out.
A select few from Kodiak Point hare off after the troublesome Naga but end up in trouble.
It is wonderful to see Travis grow up but still keep his zaniness at full throttle.
How funny that his mate was already married and he managed to keep sane for the years prior to being able to claim her.
Jess is the Kodiak Point doctor and has been treating Travis for all his injuries, whilst he was busy flirting with her.
Jess had mated young and was slowly understanding what a mistake that had been, but kept her vows until the truth about her husband came out.
Loved how Jess dealt with his traitorous hide. Precise and brilliantly cool.
Slightly older than Travis she was a good counterpoint to his enthusiasm and was a match for his formidable mother.
What a great conclusion to what has been going on and finding out who HE was, was a real eye opener.
Really sorry to see the end of this series, it has been so full of laugh out loud moments of humour, sadness at what these men went through, amazing women to match this mismatched band of crazy shifters, but it has been a pleasure to meet and get to know the people of Kodiak Point.
