Publisher's Summary

Nathan wasn't sure why people were so obsessed with dating and sex.

Sure it probably felt good, but he just couldn't figure out what all the fuss was about. It might have helped if he knew what he was looking for. But with so many labels and options, he just wasn't sure. It seemed so easy to everyone else, but to him, it felt like something was missing.

Gabriel thought Nathan was absolutely perfect. Sweet, funny, sexy, and completely confused about what he desired; but absolutely perfect. He wanted to help Nathan. Would his sexy roommate be open to something that was completely outside of the box or would Gabriel ruin their relationship before it even started?

Sweet puppy play romance!

Much to his friends’ concern, Nathan feels better when he allows his roommate, Gabriel, to make decisions, organise, and chide him. Nathan’s mind is always busy and he regularly thinks aloud - he feels safer, calmer, and more cherished when Gabriel takes control. As the dom in Gabriel begins to recognise the submissive puppy in Nathan, they form the perfect master / puppy relationship. I’m just loving these puppy play stories, they’re sweet and spicy and there’s so much fascinating psychology involved. Nathan has a heart of gold, but he is easily distracted, socially awkward and neglects his health if left to his own devices; Gabriel happily accepts the responsibility of guiding and caring for him without taking advantage - MA Innes has the balance just right. I loved the backdrop of the judgemental friends, worried about what they perceive as abusive or controlling behaviour, and not understanding the true nature of the relationship - it’s a concern many of us would have. Audio narrator Kenneth Obi did a great job, especially considering how tricky the dialogue was with Nathan often not realising he’s voicing his inner monologue aloud and Gabriel responding to what we had assumed were unspoken thoughts.

Great book!

Nathan’s non existent filter was hilarious and adorable! Him and Gabriel made such a cute couple! And I loved the cameos from Eric and Marcus!
