I've never been afraid of the dark...but that doesn't mean I wanted to live in it. Maybe everyone wants what they can't have, but I should've thought it over before I unlocked the door to their forbidden world. Number One is mostly silent. He watches me very carefully. Number Two is mostly gentle. But it's the other side of him I like best. Number Three is mostly reserved. It was carnal, it was sensual, and it was erotic. That's it. That's all it was supposed to be. A trip into the dark. A peek into the forbidden. I just didn't expect to like them.

This book was well written and preformed. The storyline is is fast moving but pretty complex. I think this is best enjoyed when you have the time to pay attention to the details that the author has created for us to enjoy . The characters are well developed and likeable. I look forward to reading the next book.

Very different, good, steamy , weird in some but so totally different kind of book. It's hard to explain. You just have to read it. Great characters, great narrators. The reason for the 4 stars is because it ended too soon after the conflict or angst part of the story. I hate when authors do that.

Milly Taiden has a talent in creating paranormal love stories that keep you on the reader/listeners toes.. This was worth the credit/money.

This was not the worst book I've gotten through Audible, and certainly not the best. The narrators did okay, considering what they had to work with. The only exception being Tess Irondale's voice for the hero. It was just NOT sexy. The world was not well fleshed out, and when you combine that with the author's attempt at dimension-hopping/dream walking, unnecessary confusion was bound to happen. The story was far too short for everything she wanted to include. This caused a very rushed feeling, which led to an unconvincing ending. I'm glad it was included with the Romance package. I would have been disappointed if I'd used a credit.
I like stories that combine the military & the paranormal. Especially if the soldiers are superhuman in some way. However, this book has too much sex & not enough story. I couldn’t finish it.
