Publisher's Summary

Abbey: We're back on Silence orbiting the Dark Planet while my husband handles unfinished business on Kythia. For some reason, he seems a little bit tense. According to Tarak, Kythian politics can be complicated. I just hope things don't get too complicated, because I don't want to be stuck here for too long. A warship isn't really the best place to raise a child.

Tarak: The only way to keep Abbey and Ami safe is to bring down the Empire. Afterwards, it is the statesmen and scholars who will rebuild our civilization. I'm just here to provide the muscle, but above all, I'm here to keep my mate and my child safe. If anything or anyone dares to threaten them...they know how I will respond. The problem is that not all enemies can be taken down by force.

Contains mature themes.

this one took me by surprise

I was expecting a big conflict on Kithia but instead I got personal stories of our two biggest characters I was surprised and I really enjoyed it. it finishes off all the questions regarding Tarak and it's good to know how Abby deals with her dilemma. it mainly focuses on family and the love for their person. I really enjoyed Todd and Jillian's narration and looking forward similar in the next series.

Excellent

We are back with Abbey and Tarak and they are back onboard Slience and once again orbiting Kithia the Dark Planet. Tarak insensed by the latest attempt to kill Abbey has returned here to stop the Empire once and for all and there was plenty of action involved in this as experienced in book 7 in the series called Electric Heart and now in the aftermath there is another dilemma to face and this one is the worst threat to Abbey ever and it comes from within. To fight this enemy they return to the origins of the 1st Division and the horrors they experienced to become what they are and this is one battle Tarak has no intention of losing. The story is a heart felt experience of two people deeply in love and what they must face to stay together and I found I love these characters. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole. Where is my Kordolian I want one for myself especially if they are as loyal and loving as Tarak is to Abbey.
