Epic!!

Pretty well spellbound by Harffy’s story and style throughout this series so far! Well woven scenes and visuals of that era, characters with many colours that he would have you second-guess, empathise and adore! Love the historical insights to the land and language! Looking forward to pushing forward in the epic, illustrious adventure!

Good Yarn

Characters are developing, some humor is being included and the plot and dialogue is improving. Going to have a crack at the next in the series.

Transportted back to 6th century.

Particularly like the character development and camaraderie. Terrific narrator and an author who clearly loves the period and is expert in it.

I'm hooked. Up there with the best.
