Publisher's Summary

From the first moment I see Mason Boone, I can't take my eyes off him. Everyone's got a different story about the gorgeous, silent man in chains. He's a hero, a former Navy SEAL. He's a fugitive, on his way to a court martial. He's a loner, a mountain man who hasn't spoken to another soul in years. But when our plane crashes deep in the Alaskan wilderness, he becomes my only hope. I'm an FBI agent and he's a prisoner, but to survive the wild animals, fierce weather, and unforgiving terrain, I must put my faith in him.

Staying alive means staying close: but every time he touches me, I melt inside. I can't resist this man, not when he looks at me as if he wants to push me up against the nearest tree and tear my clothes off.... Is it possible that he's innocent? Can I help him overcome the demons of his past? I'm a city girl but to survive this I'm going to need to learn to live as wild as him...because the greatest danger we face isn't from nature. The other prisoner from our flight is out there with his gang...and they're hunting us.

    Story
"wonderful love story with some drama"

this wasn't a funny, drawn out romantic comedy I usually crave.... it was better. An FBI agent stuck in the wilds of Alaska with a criminal to help her.. so good! the story line was perfect, the narrators did the most amazing job! the author also did an amazing job! this story has the adrenaline going, the I've story plot and just the right amount of drama. I wish the ending was rushed but it was really rushed... I guess I wanted more. Im so greedy. overall, worth a credit! couldn't stop and didn't want to miss a word!!! well done!!

    Story
"Not Crass, Not Dirty. What? Its a real love story?"

Yeah this has a few nasty words, but they are appropriate. I'm so tired of reading junk that uses every swear word the author can think of to complete the story. This one is a full story, a very good story and a very good tale of love.

This is a new author to me, and Im going to look at her list to see if there are other gems like this one. This is my fav. book in some time, and I read / Listen Alot. Way to go Helena!

    Story
"I can see the wilderness of Alaska"
What did you love best about Alaska Wild?

I loved the scenery, it was as if I was there with them. Seeing what Alaska is like, how vast it is, how wild, and it beauty. I like learning about how remote it is, I could see the snow storm. I also enjoy the romance between the couple.

I think the end of the story was very rushed, it could have been flushed out more. Because of the rush to end it, I gave only four stars.

What other book might you compare Alaska Wild to and why?

I can't think of any other book to compare it to.

What about Emma Wilder and Scott Thomas ’s performance did you like?

I loved that there was two performers. I enjoyed hearing the story told by two people. They did a great job.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes it was but, I took my time listening.

    Any additional comments?

Lovely story, great performances, enjoyed being able to see the state, nice.

    Story
"It's a great idea & story line but..."

I really wanted to like this book. I was looking for a contemporary romance that really got me wanting to listen more. Good beginning and I appreciate the fact that there wasn't a cuss word every sentence to get the "feelings" across.... however this book just didn't do it for me.... there were soooooo many obstacles it was starting to feel like one of those class exercises where everyone writes a page to the story and everyone wants to have the most exciting part.

    Story
    "Suspense in the wilderness! "

The basis of this story is finding love under extreme circumstances. The heroine is an FBI agent after a sleazy crook and when she needs to get a flight out of Alaska, she hitches a ride on a plane that's carrying two prisoners to prison. Little did she know that ride would change her life forever! The hero is a former Navy Seal who has been committed of a crime he didn't do and is being made to take the fall for a fellow soldier who has 'connections'. I'm not going to say much more because it would be a spoiler, but there's a lot of action and sexy scenes too. The narration was pretty good, except the male voice was so growly sometimes. Overall a good romantic suspense listen!

    Story
    "book was okay"

this book was not bad but I do feel if could have been better. it didn't really suck you or make you feel anything. also the writer has two main characters that narrate the story but in the middle of the book in two separate chapters put a third characters perspective in it but then didn't follow through with anything else. I found it odd and a little pointless.

would I listen to it again? no

would i recommend it? probably not
