Loved the story and characters. The performance was excellent as well. I can't wait to go to the next novel and finish the series.

I loved everyone's performance except for Nadir. Come on, man. You don't have to make every word sound like you're on the verge of crying. It would have been better if Gabriel's voice actor was doing Nadir's part.

Almost didn’t listen to this series because of “booktok” saying it wasnt worth it. I’ve loved all books so far, and the narration is excellent

loved how what looked to be once a fate worse than death started to turn change. the passion for fighting for one's survival grew to fighting for those always looked down upon. also loved the learning of other course and thier influence with the kingdoms and beyond.

Loved it. Gave more POVs (Gabriel's were fun). There were some entertaining moments for sure. The last few chapters were particularly good IMO and I'm sure I'll read the last book. If you're heavily invested I'd suggest being ready to either purchase an extra credit or leave it till it's close to your next one as it does end on a cliffhanger.

4 stars because it was slow at times especially for a third book. There were scenes that I didn't feel were that necessary plus the whole cliche mate thing is an ick to me at this point. Yes I know, that's what romantasy writers do, but do they really have to? The romance was good enough that we don't NEED to be convinced they were fated to be together. It would be more satisfying if they actually just made their own choices 🤦‍♀️ anyhow personal preference so I didn't drop it to a 3 because as I said, at this point it's to be expected.

Oh also if you are hoping for more smut in this book- yes, there is more smut. Can't comment on how good they were as I tend to zone out most of the time when those scenes hit but it was there for sure.

The vile character that is Atlas

good storyline, over dramatic and very repetitive (same "recollection" of the characters story repeated 10-15 times per book,). lots of eye roll moments.
frustrating that Lor is all knowing powerful one minute and stupid and useless the next.
