Too spiritual

Thought it was more tailored around dieting and fasting techniques. Too much emphasis on spirituality and unsupported claims about medicinal advantages of avoiding inflammation.

He's done better.

Not bad some good tips but I thought there was a little to much on the side or religious and spiritual fasting, not that im against that i meditate everyday its just not what i was hoping it to be about. i Think Super Human was a much better read

I've lost 70kg as a result of Dave Asprey

Dave Asprey saved my life with this book and all of his others. I got my brain and body back which changed everything and everyone around me.

This has to be his best book yet! full of awesome information, along with classic Dave humour scattered throughout. absolutely loved it. well worth the wait!

Best book on fasting I've ever listened too!

I've listened to lots of books on fasting, this is the best one, lots of gold nuggets, recommended.

Great book with scientific backing.

Very glad I accidentally came across this book. I did IF a while ago but forgot about the benefits. Restarted IF as soon I finished listening, with good effects within 3 days

Addresses Woman and Fasting

The science and the spiritual power of fasting are interwoven throughout Dave Asprey’s own story. He dedicates a chapter to women and fasting. The problem for me is that this chapter undermined my confidence in trying things that he discusses in the rest of the book. If women must fast differently, more recommendations about good, safe ways to do so should also be included.

Loved every second of this book

So insightful and such a positive great read I’ve been fasting for 12 months and it’s certainly helped me understand why I’m stuck on a plateau.. thank you Dave Asprey it was amazing!
