Familjen åker till ett hundinternat och faller pladask för Olle, en fin hund som tyvärr är svår att uppfostra: Han kan varken sitta, ge tass eller rulla runt. Å andra sidan kan han gräva hål i trädgården och öppna dörrar. Han gillar också att tugga på mammas väska. Att ha hund kräver mycket mer arbete än Anton och Viktoria trodde. Hur kan de få Olle att lyda dem? Kanske har farmor några knep?
