About this listen

Stranded on a hostile planet, one man finds himself thrust into a fight for survival that could decide the fate of an entire world . . .

As an engineer on the arkship Pilgrim-9, bound for the Tau Ceti solar system, Morgan Hall thought his life would revolve around maintaining and repairing the ship and supporting the needs of the five thousand colonists aboard. But when he’s roused early from a 240-year stasis, he’s confronted with chaos.

Along with his shipmates, Morgan is brought down to a planet teeming with peril. Forced to fight for their survival without any of their tech to hand, they must adapt quickly to overcome countless threats in a world where magic is as real as science. Eventually, they begin to create a new existence for themselves.

But just as they’re beginning to feel at home, Morgan and his fellow humans discover the planet is already inhabited by intelligent life-forms—and this native species is cunning, powerful, and all too lethal . . .

I’ve returned to many books lately as I’ve ploughee through so many series- I know good from bad. That’s why it makes me happy when I stumble upon unfound gems like this.

Trust me you won’t regret if looking for a solid litrpg. Bonus is he has two series both some same caliber. And if I’m wrong, just return, but I know you won’t. Enjoy!

Get this! 200+ Litrpg down, this is solid!

Maintains narrative integrity throughout, thoughtfully constructed without overly angst characterization, and develops catharsis regularly and in interesting ways.

Looking forward to more!

Genuinely a well thought out novel.

i like the narrator although he only pronounced Azure properly once which was annoying. Story was good enough although nothing too special. Doesn't explain how the existing inhabitants are so weak compared to people who have arrived less than a week ago which really annoyed me for most of the book.

pretty good

Awesome series

Was a bit boring, not sure if it was the narrator or just the story... Was annoyed ever time he said asia instead of azure.

Average story, not invested in the characters

Got around 80% through the book before deciding to return it. really enjoyed the main character and his adventures but just couldn't get around to liking any of the other characters. the love interest was fine but a bit confusing, and half of the people the mc interacted with just felt hollow to me.
side note, could not get past the constant screw up of the word azure by the narrator. has a great voice but kept pronouncing it asia.

will probably pick it up again at a later date or go and finish the story over on kindle or royal road.

great plot somewhat decent execution
