Breath Taking

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I was given the amazing opportunity to review this book before it made it to audible. I love it then and even more now! Getting to hear all my favorite characters come to life is an amazing experience!
Highly recommend this book to fantasy and fae realm lovers. I have read the second book and I can’t wait to hear that one come to life!

Wonderful New Fae Series

Although, this is very true to other fae stories, I was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a clean read. Most Fae books I have tried in the past are pretty sexualized, this one is not. It's prefect for middle school age and up. I don't remember there being much if any bad language and the violence is normal fantasy violence with nothing too graphic. The story pulls you in within the first few chapters and there's plenty of twists and turns that keeps it unpredictable and page turning. The narrator does a fantastic job with the character voices, accents, and really is simply fun to listen to. If you're looking for clean Fae then this is it. I really enjoyed the story and was excited to see that book two is available... I am looking forward to seeing where the story goes next!

One word - WOW!

This was a fascinating story!! Just when you thought it was going to be one type of read, boom, it zigged. As faerie stories go, this listen stayed true to the genre. It's what the author did within the faerie drama that makes this listen so good. (No spoilers.)

The narrator, of course, breathed magnificent life into the story.

The ending was pretty special too.

Great book for the beginning of a fun series!

Author keeps things going at a nice pace with a great narrator that makes the characters come alive!
