Loved the story and really connected with the members of the squad. I am especially looking forward to the second in the series. However I do feel the narration outside of the voices let the audiobook down a bit. It was unnecessarily slow with long pauses. Won’t stop me from buying the next one though!

This is this most unnatural narration I’ve ever heard. She sounds like she’s reading a picture book to a small child. The story was quite interesting, so it’s very unfortunate.

I was a bit sceptical at first about this book. A tad slow at the beginning but then it took off and I became interested. A great read with an interesting story behind it.

Unfortunately the tone and pace of the narrator wasn't very good for this story, I sped it up as she had a lilt in her voice that became irritating. Good listen otherwise.

The narration was exaggerated and slow dragging out the ends of words. Spoiled the story as it lacked pace.

I enjoyed the story line but found the narration frustrating with the reader dragging out the words at the end of the sentences. This gave the effect of being almost hypnotic and took away from the story. It put me off listening.
