Publisher's Summary

In the latest thrilling adventure in the Matt Kearns series from best-selling author Greig Beck, Matt is fighting for his life, the ones he loves and the existence of the entire human race.

Around the world entire towns are being wiped out, a trail of boneless bodies left behind.

Professor Matt Kearns, paleo-linguist and a team of scientific and military specialists rush to decipher the hidden secrets of a pair of ancient stones that prophesise the next great extinction on Earth. They soon discover that the ominous predictions are linked to a plague of unstoppable creatures that have risen from the centre of the Earth.

In a heart-pumping adventure that begins in the hold of a sunken German U-boat, Matt Kearns travels to the lost Nazi treasure tunnels in Poland and dives deep down to sunken caves below Easter Island.

Great story

I was not disappointed by this text. Sad Meaghan, Matt’s cousin ended up the way she did but I did wonder how the rest of his family survived. Now that was the weak point in the storyline although Beck did drop a massive hint. Beck has some stock phrases that I would like to see him lose as if you have listened to as many of his books as I have, you can predict great chunks of text. Almost word for word and it is a little annoying. Still a good read and waiting for Alex Hunter number 10 and his son Josh to team up in it for real. Yes?

another outstanding book

an awesome listen as always...you can't beat the team of Greig Beck and Sean Mangan. With the storyline ending so a follow up book seems possible it's exciting and nail biting all in one short story. Poor Matt just can't keep out of trouble!

Master extinction teller

Again we are taken to the brink of extinction
Beck tamed his gruesome narrative a little in comparison to previous books but it’s still a mighty enjoyable yarn

Greig Beck fan

haven't read or heard a Greig Beck book I didn't like and the best part is even with the climate of politics it's easy to import it into a novel that God he doesn't ever do that fan forever.
